Rick is a founding partner of ideas*, established in 1994.
He has a breadth of knowledge and has been integral to developing new and emerging technologies and processes for major Australian and International companies for 30+ years of his engineering career.
Rick has extensive experience in designing industrial processes and product manufacturing for clients across various industries. Over the last two decades, he has developed a specialisation in zero waste processes, specifically in the areas of torrefaction, pyrolysis, biomass and organics conversion.
Most recently Rick helped secure the $40 million acquisition of Australian Bio Fert by Incitec Pivot Limited Australia, which will fund the construction of a major biological fertilizer plant in South Western Victoria, Australia.
